**De**partment Overview**:
We are a global construction consultancy actively operating and investing in the Commercial, Data Centre, Industrial, Residential, Education, Healthcare and Infrastructure sectors.
RLB's Cost Management team proactively manages the cost of a building project, from the initial design stages through to the building's completion and sometimes even the costs incurred through maintenance and operation once the building is up and running. Our Cost Managers work in close contact with the client, advising them on financial and legal matters that arise during the project. We pride ourselves on the quality of our service to our clients and enjoy long-term relationships with a large majority.
**Overview of Role**:
RLB's Cost Management division in Europe is expanding and as such, we are excited to be recruiting a Cost Manager to join and strengthen our team in Milan.
The position offers a platform to develop professionally and opportunities to progress while working alongside a diverse and impressive team on exciting projects for a variety of clients, as well as a chance to truly shape the future of RLB's European business.
**Person Specification**:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar construction related technical discipline.
- Some proven experience in a similar cost management / quantity surveying role.
- Previously employed by a consultancy or contractor in a similar role.
- Proven experience in delivering Data Centre projects.
- Pre & Post Contract experience preferred.
- English & Italian language skills essential.
- Desire to attain RICS chartership.
- A track record of working with teams and managing projects / packages by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines.
- Ability to deliver to clients, building rapport & ability to be client facing.
- A team player, collaborative, flexible, and career focussed.
