Country Data Privacy Officer (Dpo)
The Country Data Privacy Officer (DPO) is responsible for supervising compliance of the Country legal entity with Data Privacy laws and in consistency with Group Data Privacy policies and guidelines**.
**REPORTING LINE
- Preferred reporting line to Country General Counsel (Legal) when member of Country Management Committee and, if not, to Country General Manager
- Functional reporting line to Zone Head of Data Privacy and Group Data Privacy Officer
- No reporting line to Digital, Marketing, HR, IT or IT Security functions to avoid any conflict of interest
**TASKS AND DUTIES
**1. Locally set up, drive and implement data privacy program
- Define, inform and advise on data privacy **policies**:
- Ensure with **IT Security** that appropriate security measures are implemented
- Adapt standard data privacy **contractual clauses and processes** with consumers, customers and suppliers
- Animate a **Data Privacy Committee** with key local stakeholders (e. g. Legal, IT, Digital, Marketing, HR)
- Identify and animate a **Data Privacy Network** of Data Privacy champions
- ** Liaise and coordinate** with HDP Zone, Group DPO and Zone/Group Data Privacy stakeholders
- ** Report** regularly to Country Management Committee on the Data Privacy program, evolution of regulations and risk exposure
**2. Monitor local entity's data privacy compliance
- Provide **operational guidance**:
- Monitor **documentation **of processing activities (including into register)
- Cooperate with **Data Protection Authority **and be its main point of contact
- Advise on **notifications **to be filed to Data Protection Authority
- Review and negotiate if need be any **Data Privacy contractual clauses** with customers and providers
- ** Get involved to assess internal projects** and **make recommendation** to ensure their data privacy compliance (including privacy impact assessment)
- Handle **personal** **data breaches' crisis situation** in coordination with relevant functions and Zone HDP/Group DPO
**3. Raise internal awareness
- Ensure existence and roll-out of **training program** for all employees
- ** Communicate internally** regularly and organize internal events (such as a "Privacy Days")
- ** Monitor** the state of the art on Data Privacy (participate to conferences and training).
**REQUIRED SKILLS**:
- Expert knowledge of Data Privacy law, regulations and practices (professional certification required)
- Good understanding of IT and Digital challenges and business stakes
- Experience in working with public authorities
- Strong project management skills
- Solid communication skills to work in multi-national environments
- Ability to influence key stakeholders and manage relationship
