Associated with the Galeries Lafayette group, more than a decade after La Redoute opened its last local subsidiary, the company is now ready to accelerate its International presence with the opening of **new local offices starting from Italy**.
**Job Summary
You directly report to the Director of International Development and as eCommerce Country Director your main goal is to make La Redoute become the most iconic French lifestyle brand in Italy.
You will be in charge of opening the local Sub and build the local team, taking into account La Redoute DNA to ensure the growth of the Italian business within La Redoute geographical portfolio.
**Key responsibilities
- Definition of the country strategy in order to ensure the entity reaches Mid-Term Plan business objectives in Italy, taking into account La Redoute positioning, Customer Needs and business evolution
- Open local office for La Redoute Italy
- Recruit talents and make the team grow in line with the development phases identified
- Manage and develop the local team to ensure efficiency, synergy and team spirit
- Work hand in hand with the group and with our local provider to ensure administrative and fiscal compliance with local regulations
- Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for the most important ones
- Ensure La Redoute's marketshare and client base grows years after year
- Propose, develop and implement the action plan to execute the strategy
- Develop key sources of revenues to guarantee the growth (B2B, local sourcing, retail network )
- Build and monitor budget and forecast for the country
- Oversee all operations and business activities
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company
**Who are you?
- 10+ years of experience within ecommerce / omnichannel
- A proven and strong business developer
- 3+ experience in running a €50M+ ecommerce business with full P&L responsibility:
- Track record in autonomous management of a large ecommerce business including key commercial functions (pricing and promotion, assortment, operations, customer service loyalty & frequency, performance marketing, SEO, etc)
- Deep knowledge of the Italian market and local customer habits
- Ability to think strategically, communicate efficiently, make individuals work together to fulfill a vision but not afraid to roll up your sleevs
- Leadership experience in fast growth businesses:
- Experience in scaling a business at pace, building the team and organization, adapting the model to increasing volumes
- University Degree (Master's Degree a plus)
- Fluency in English and Italian, French is a plus.
