Country Manager - Aquaculture (Trout Feed)
PeoItaly, on behalf of an international company in the aquaculture industry, is seeking aCountry Managerto drive business growth and customer engagement in the trout feed sector. This role is crucial in developing strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and achieving sales targets.
You will work closely with trout farmers and industry stakeholders, delivering value-driven feed solutions while collaborating with internal teams to ensure outstanding service and product performance. Key Responsibilities1.
Sales Development & Business GrowthDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets. Identify and engage new customers, building a strong pipeline to expand market share. Promote high-quality trout feed solutions, emphasizing performance, sustainability, and value. 2.
Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term relationships with trout farmers, understanding their challenges and business needs. Act as a trusted advisor, offering tailored feeding strategies to optimize farm performance. Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving claims, and maintaining strong communication. 3.
Market Insights & Competitive AnalysisMonitor market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies. Provide valuable feedback to internal teams on industry developments and customer needs. 4.
Cross-Functional CollaborationAlign sales efforts with product innovation and technical services. Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and industry events. Maintain collaboration with global company teams to ensure seamless business operations. 5.
Performance Reporting & Continuous ImprovementTrack and report sales activities, results, and forecasts to ensure alignment with business goals. Identify opportunities to enhance sales processes and customer engagement strategies. Qualifications & SkillsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Veterinary Sciences, Aquatic Animal Nutrition, Agribusiness, or a related field. Industry Experience:Proven sales experience in aquaculture, aqua feed, or agricultural industries, with a focus on trout farming preferred. Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of trout farming practices, feed performance metrics (e. G. , FCR, SGR), and industry trends. Sales & Relationship Management:Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a track record of exceeding sales targets. Languages:Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken). Mobility:Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region and internationally (up to 20 days per year). Other Requirements:A valid driver's license and the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
