Position: Country Manager – Italy
Location: Italy (flexible within major business hubs)
Key Responsibilities:
Market Leadership:
Lead and manage all operations in Italy, driving market growth and business expansion.
Develop and execute market entry and growth strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Sales and Distribution Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and installers to enhance the company's presence in the market.
Develop sales channels and identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration within the residential energy storage sector.
Team Management:
Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing team to support business operations in Italy.
Set clear goals and objectives while fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for local stakeholders, including clients, partners, and governmental authorities.
Provide timely market insights and feedback to the global team to refine products and strategies.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards for battery and inverter products.
Monitor operational performance and implement processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Financial Performance:
Develop and manage the budget for Italian operations, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
Deliver on revenue and growth targets, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
Requirements:
Industry Experience: Proven experience in the energy storage, battery, inverter, or related industries, with a background in distribution or installation preferred.
Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Italian residential energy storage market, including key players, trends, and regulatory environment.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and scale a business, with strong organizational and team management capabilities.
Sales Expertise: Track record of driving sales growth and building long-term client relationships.
Communication: Fluent in Italian and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education: A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
