As Country Manager Italy, you will be responsible for leading the company's expansion in the Italian market, ensuring the development and execution of commercial strategies while leveraging your technical expertise in energy markets.
This position requires a mix of commercial, managerial, and technical competencies, as well as a deep understanding of the Italian energy landscape.
**Missione**:
**Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company in Italy.
- Define and implement commercial strategies tailored to the Italian market.
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers in Investment Funds, IPPs, and other power generators.
- Promote company's innovative SaaS platforms and consulting services.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful deal closures.
- Monitor the evolution of the Italian energy market, identifying trends and emerging opportunities.
**Operational and Strategic Leadership
- Oversee local operations, ensuring alignment with the company's global strategy.
- Develop and execute a country-specific growth plan, including revenue targets and key performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with Italian regulations and market requirements.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and meetings with key stakeholders.
- Provide insights to the product and operations teams to improve our service offering in Italy.
**Client and Partner Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Work closely with customers to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Act as a key point of contact for Italian clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and service quality.
**Technical Expertise & Market Analysis
- Stay up to date with Italian and European energy regulations, market mechanisms, and trends.
Provide advisory and technical support on energy management strategies, including PPAs, market participation, and grid services.
Conduct competitive analysis and feasibility assessments for new business opportunities.
**Profilo**:
- Language Skills: Fluency in Italian and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master's in Renewable Energy or an MBA is highly valued.
- Experience: At least 6-8 years of experience in the energy sector, with at least 3-4 years in managerial and business development roles.
- Leadership & Autonomy: Strong ability to work independently while leading local business activities.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute business growth strategies, aligning them with market trends.
- Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex technical and commercial concepts clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Results-Oriented Approach: Focus on achieving ambitious commercial and operational goals
