Fast growing US Company leader in renewables Senior managerial role in O&M services

Our client is a US company leading internationally in renewable energy and with an ambitious development plan in Europe and Italy.

Reporting directly to the Vice President EMEA & APAC, the new Country Manager will be responsible for all the functions of the Italian branch, supervise some direct reports over around 30 employees (supervisors, coordinators and technicians, performance engineer and warehouse supervisor). The new manager will be responsible for the main following tasks:

Supervise and be responsible for the countries P&L including the annual sales and operating goals, being the organisation representative for the Country, operationally, administratively and legally;

Lead and optimise transactional services between contract and 3rd party customers;

Be responsible for all the offered products and services in the local market, representing the brand with existing and potential customers;

Select contractors/vendors, initiate contracts and supervise contractors/vendors or technicians as needed to fulfil O&M service agreement obligations, ensuring the correct planning of O&M activities at the Country level ) in the most cost-effective manner while maintaining the highestlevel of customer satisfaction;

Develop and improve plant operations and maintenance procedures;

Lead, coach, mentor and develop the local team, maintaining a high level of motivation and deploying best practices.

Contribute in defining the Group's development strategy in Europe

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering or related fields;

Previous strong experience as Business Unit manager, able to read and understand electrical, I&C (Instrumentation & Control), mechanical drawings and technical manuals;

Deep knowledge of Budgeting, Management of people, Management of Contractors and Sub-Contractors, together with the ability to relate with different stakeholders and level;

Strong technical and supervisory skills, with an excellent knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);

Organised and able to set priorities to respect deadlines and to work effectively even under pressure;

Ability in managing several supplier and in planning all the workload;

Pro activity and hands-on attitude, always guided by a safety first and customer focused mindset;

Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills;

Must hold a Valid Driving License (B);

Fluency in English and Italian is required.
