TGRC are currently exclusively partnered with a leading European Solar/BESS IPP that is looking to appoint a Country Manager/Managing Director to head their Italian operations. With over 2GW of operational assets and a 10GW development pipeline, the business is set for significant growth in 2025 and beyond.

This role will play a pivotal part in driving new business opportunities with local developers and overseeing the company's greenfield development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the country representative for the development of large-scale solar PV projects

Initiate and foster relationships with local developers, landowners, and other key stakeholders

Lead the coordination of permits, grid connections, and other regulatory processes

Build and manage a project team responsible for all stages of project development

Requirements:

Over 10 years of experience in the development of large-scale PV projects

Strong network and successful track record in Italy's solar energy sector

Expertise in licensing, permitting, and managing commercial negotiations

Ability to travel frequently within Italy and internationally

Proficiency in Italian and English

A background in renewable energy, engineering, business, law, or a related field
