Based in Rome, the role of **Creative Artworker: Healthcare** within a busy on-site studio is a design-led production role, interpreting campaign ideas and visual styles and producing artwork across a broad spectrum of briefs from advertising and other collateral (print, direct mail, video and digital) to patient information, detail aids, and medical communications to healthcare professionals maintaining a high level of technical competence, attention to detail and traditional artworking skills at all times.

The role is 70% artwork / 30% design requiring sound judgement of design and layout.

You will also be expected to develop an understanding of the corporate guidelines of the various healthcare brands.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand print production processes, from design to print ready artwork

- Able to design and output print-ready files across a range of materials e. g.

packaging, POS and publications

Retouch and cut-out supplied images

- Adapting key assets across multiple deliverables

- Work with supplied print specifications, brand guidelines and cutter guides

- Flight-check artwork, package final files and prepare print-ready PDFs

- File management of agency servers

- Upload files to relevant FTP and asset management portals

- Keep up-to-date with industry software development, innovations and trends

- Proactively contribute and assist wherever required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Dedicated to good design with a developed eye for detail

- Energetic, committed, passionate, curious

- Able to work under pressure and meet or exceed timelines

- Interested in the world of healthcare marketing, advertising, design, digital and the broader communications world

- Knowledge of servers and file management

- Capable of highly detailed graphic work (graphs, diagrams, charts etc) and deal with them creatively

- Keen attention to detail whilst working at pace

- Passion and enthusiasm for design & typography applied with creative flair

- An understanding of print cutter guides and technical specifications

- Extensive repro knowledge e. g.

colour process, paper stock and print techniques and finishes

- Some knowledge of digital production including an understanding of responsive design
