Client**:
A leading, global boutique - specialising in the institutional fixed income space on the sell-side.
The firm provides middle market companies and financial sponsors with capital markets, merger and acquisitions, capital structure, restructuring and recapitalization advisory services etc).
They offer a wide range of proprietary products and services to institutional investors, middle market companies, and private equity firms.
Our Client provides institutional clients research and sales and trading of corporate credit, structured product, bank debt, convertible bonds, preferred stocks, and equities.
With good support from their global headquarters and busy London office, your role as credit institutional sales specialist, will be at a senior or mid-level, as part of a successful European sales team which is growing and going from strength to strength.
With your proven track record and network in the Benelux region, you will be based in their Milan branch - an authorized subsidiary in Italy.
Able to "passport" into other European countries, "post-Brexit", their Italian office is the driving centre for its services in Continental Europe through an expansion of its existing business model.
Through their subsidiaries and affiliates, they provide superior advisory services, capital markets insight, investment ideas and trade execution.
They also provide securities and investment banking services through their affiliated entities, of which this Italian SIM is one.
They offer an entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment and one of their distinct competitive advantages is the integration of their investment banking and institutional sales and trading operations.
On top of this, for their credit sales staff, is a very competitive remuneration package (generous cut of P&L paid out in monthly commissions) as well as very interesting, potential tax advantages, being part of a close-knit, friendly team, with supportive Management.

**Position**:
If you're a credit institutional sales with a good network/track-record for the Benelux region, this is an exciting opportunity to have more autonomy and scope within a smaller, entrepreneurial structure, who is a leader in their field.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sales Coverage of Institutional Accounts to provide full understanding and transacting in components of corporate credit
Market opportunistic and real-time trading opportunities based on proprietary research
Provide extensive relationships with institutional accounts
Be versed in the trading of an issuer's full capital structure
Performance Assessment:
- Performance will be evaluated on the basis of gross commissions generated, general ability to support the efforts of the Trading Desk, account development/growth, use of ideas generated from research group, recruiting efforts, and overall supervisory efforts
**Profile**:
- Institutional Credit Sales experience from emerging markets corporates and financials or high yield space - Benelux regional coverage
Confirmed experience in the fixed income emerging markets space - high yield (corporates and/or financials and sub fin)
A self-starter who is driven, tenacious, comfortable cold-calling etc
At ease in and motivated by joining a smaller structure, with greater responsibility and visibility
Fluent English; local languages for the regional coverage a plus (Dutch, German, French etc)
Happy to relocate to this lovely part of the world in Italy where the quality of life is excellent
