CREDIT SPECIALIST EXPORT
ABOUT THE JOB
The Credit Specialist Export takes care of following up with initiatives at Group level in terms of credit policy and management of credit conditions in coordination with Group Credit Manager. This role also follows the full credit management process for a defined group of export customers, providing technical and administrative support to the business monitoring customer payments and coordinating the activities related to booking of payments, documentary credit, public tenders and projects interfacing with internal partners (orders back office, shipping department, sales managers) and external partners (credit insurance, banks, etc. ).
ABOUT YOUR TASKS
- Ensure the management of the credit, in accordance with laws and external regulations, management policies and procedures;
- Follow up Group initiatives and support the different sales entities in coordination with Group Credit manager
- Assess new customers alignment with the corporate credit policy and update the credit limit for customers already active.
- Be the interface with the sales organization to grant coordination of sales related activities
- Perform assessment on the various areas of performance.
- Constantly monitor customer portfolio assigned and classify the types of defaults; evaluate critical positions and implement recovery activities;
- Check and analyze business information and credit insurance;
- Keep the connections with customers and internal drives involved, soliciting payments through telephone contacts and letters; arrange repayment plans.
- Verify and manage any breakouts customer orders that have exceeded the credit limit and / or insolvencies.
- Turn on lawsuits involving the legal department of internal or external counsel with the preparation of documentation.
- Issue invoices and credit note and assist in the check the closure of custom operation and analyze the related data.
ABOUT YOU
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economic disciplines
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience in administration or commercial would be an advantage
- Experience of working for an international organization
- Good knowledge of accounting, motions of contractual, statutory and regulatory knowledge VAT tax.
- Good IT operational knowledge (JDE preferential)
- Able to clearly communicate complex financial data to both finance and non-finance colleagues
- Highly analytical and with a strong level of attention to details
- Available to travel and open to programs of international mobility
- Italian, fluent in English. French will be considered a considered a plus
- Proactive with a strategic approach and foster a culture of continuous improvement; innovative and curious.
