Responsibilities We are seeking a dedicated candidate for the role of CS Software Engineer for our Customer Service (CS) department. The purpose of the role is to design and develop software solutions and customizations to our Swisslog software solutions for our customers. In this role you will work closely in teams and have a impactful customer facing role. You will be part of our Software Service team, located in Maranello, Italy.

You will support the continuous development of our software systems in terms of enhancements, bug fixes and optimizations by a common way of working and efficient software development.

You will support in the software design, implementation and testing phase of the projects and take responsibility for documentation throughout the process.

You will understand and analyze reoccurring customer challenges and identify possible solutions to our customers to minimize challenges in the software area.

You will together with the team have customer responsibility and work towards enhancing and intensifying the customer relationship with Swisslog.

You will need to actively collaborate with your team and on occasion support with handling support calls from customers or urgent onsite support at customer site.

You will also support with testing and integration, both onsite at customer locations and in-house.

Application Requirements What you need to succeed:

Degree in Computer Science, related subject or equivalent.

Experience of Object Oriented Analysis and Design.

Experience with working with Java (SE or EE).

Experience with enterprise frameworks, enterprise Java API's and SQL programming.

We hope you have been working in commercial software development environment and in a team providing software solutions.

We consider it desirable if you have experience of working in a manual or automated logistics department.

You are fluent in both English and Italian and hold a valid drivers license.

The successful candidate has strong communication skills and works well in teams. We believe that you have a good ability to find solutions to problems, enjoy helping others and want to work with improvements. You also share a genuine passion for technology and software.
