Linum Consult's client is an international specialist main contractor. They are looking to hire a Field Engineer with experience in Civil, Structural, and Architectural works to join their team in Milan on a major data centre construction project. RESPONSIBILITIES Defining the size of various components that make up the structure, taking into account factors such as dimensions, quantity and type of materials used, soil type, climatic conditions, and seismic risk zones Overseeing the CSA works on site Assessing the impact of installations to existing structures Modifying existing structures if necessary Producing calculation notes and specifications, and reviewing calculations produced by others PROFILE At least 7 years of experience within a high-tech or industrial design environment, with significant experience working on site Proficient in IT tools, with knowledge of analysis software such as STAAD.
