Spacelab S. p. A. carries out in Italy and abroad, activities in the aerospace industry and, in particular, in the field of space transport systems, launchers and their components and equipment.

Spacelab S. P. A. it is engaged in particular in research and development of new technologies and test infrastructures in the space transport sector.

It is 70% owned by Avio S. p. A. and 30% by the Italian Space Agency. For Spacelab we are looking for a

- **Chief Technical Officer (CTO)** based in Colleferro (Rome), Italy**Il Ruolo**:

**I Requisiti**:

- Technical background, with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics or Physics.

- He/she has gained his/her work experience in the aforementioned industrial sectors or in research institutions.

- Has in-depth knowledge of development, validation and verification cycles for software, avionics, ground segment systems according to ECSS regulation.

- He/she is familiar with technologies related to Data Handling, in particular with protocols and equipment for the distribution of data over copper, optical fiber or radio frequency, real-time architectures and technologies for command and control systems.

- He/she is able to set up and conduct system activities (knowledge of the Model Based System Engineering approach is appreciated), and to plan or critically analyze the design of avionics equipment.

- He/she has knowledge of RAMS aspects and 8D and 6sigma methodologies.

- He/she has a very good knowledge of spoken and written English and optionally of French.

- He/she has recognized authority and ability to manage integrated groups of skills.

- Location: Colleferro with availability to travel abroad frequently

- Knowledge of the Italian language is not considered an essential requirement
