Curricular Internship - Leveraged Finance Italy
Posizione
- Leveraged Finance Italy (LevFin) is in charge to originate and execute leverage buy outs financings (LBO) for PE funds investing in Italy.
Alongside LBOs LevFin is also responsible for all PE's Targets lending-related needs coordinating with the coverage team, incl.
delivery of other UniCredit products such as capital markets, loan agency, hedging and corporate banking.
LevFin is a leading European LBOs financer, with a focus on its core markets represented by Italy, Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe.
In the Italian LBO market UniCredit has consistently been the leading bank (#1 in 2021-2013 cumulated league tables), having played a tier one role in the most visible deals closed in the recent years.
- Main key activities:
- Assist in preparing and presenting internal memos and credit papers for Leveraged Buyouts.
- Assist in preparing and presenting Information Memorandums for transactions structured and syndicated by UniCredit.
- Provide as necessary research on market sectors and LBO targets.
- Provide as necessary financial and commercial analysis of Leveraged Buyout targets for internal credit process.
- Prepare ratings and pricing sheets for new and existing deals.
- Prepare detailed financial models in Excel to illustrate management, base and downside cases and develop appropriate debt structures.
- Compile analysis of due diligence reports provided by external advisors.
- Assist in preparing client presentations for general marketing activity and specific transactions.
- Complete presentations / projects for the Leveraged Finance group as assigned.
- Maintain internal client database.
Requisiti
- Financial analysis
- Broad general knowledge of global economics
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Ability to logically analyse large amounts of information; capability to prioritise and to multi-task; ability to co-operate in international teams, pro-active thinking and initiative taking.
- Strong communication and command of English
- Strong interpersonal skills
