We are currently seeking a Customer Engineer AC Power to join our dynamic team in Milan, Italy!

What will be your role in your team?

As a Customer Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in startups, maintenance, and emergency repairs for Vertiv UPS, battery, power distribution, and site monitoring equipment.

You will establish and maintain excellent rapport with customers, salesmen, distributors, and others, while maintaining continuous communications with Call Control and the department Manager/Supervisor.

What specific responsibilities will you have within your team?

Respond professionally to all assigned service calls while on duty.

Perform all work using good working practices and current codes of practice/legislation relevant to assigned tasks.

Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts procedures.

Assist in maintaining the planned maintenance completion rate at a minimum of 90%.

Assist call control to schedule, plan and complete any works as required, using established workflow procedures.

Keep call control informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs.

Maintain the accuracy of the customer listing by reporting errors with the site change form.

Work collaboratively within the service team.

Follow up and follow through on all assigned tasks.

Submit daily paperwork accurately and promptly, ensuring thorough debriefing in Wireless Field Service.

Ensure availability to work during weekends and nights.

What are the keys to your success?

HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent; Experience working in a technical service or test environment of AC Power equipment - essential; Previous field service experience - essential; Excellent customer service and communication skills; Self-starter, with the ability to plan, organize and manage time effectively under pressure; Clean valid driving license.
