Customer Quality Engineer
Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years.
We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
As Customer Quality Engineer you will be the main Avio Aero Product Quality point of contact for an external Customer cluster.
You will use your knowledge to understand the Customers contracts and requirements and you will also operate as operational support to make sure Customer's quality requirements are flowed down within the organization.
Job Description Essential responsibilities Guarantee Customer satisfaction through contracts knowledge and applicationFlowdown of Customer's requirements through the Avio Aero organizationRobust Root Cause & Corrective Actions (RCCA) deploymentCustomers main point of contact for Quality escapesSupport Customer visits/meetings and periodical visit at Customer's facility, if neededKnowledge and application of the Return to Vendor (RTV) processSupport the development and additional review of quality plans with CustomerCommunicate across the function in area of expertisePresent to senior leaders both internally and at external CustomersQualifications/Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering fieldExperience in Quality, Engineering, Program Management and/or Manufacturing fieldAbility to read and comprehend technical drawingsAbility to handle different activities at the same timeProficiency in Italian and English, both written and oralWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired Characteristics Strong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to communicate clearly and well with external Customers and internally in the Organization.
