Position Summary
The primary responsibilities for this role as a Customer Service Representative will require you to be motivated, to think creatively and show dedication to providing first class solutions for our specialist clients.
You will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of customer service and client relations within a premium logistics company that provides unsurpassed knowledge, global reach and flawless supply chain execution.
This is a complex and challenging role that requires creative thinking and a passion for providing extremely high-quality customer service.
Primary
**Responsibilities**:
- Follow instructions and objectives from the Customer Service Manager in agreement with the National Operation Manager.
Keep clients updated to the status of their shipment, especially in regards to delays.
- Determine which shipping solution should be used for certain shipments.
- Advice clear pick up/special delivery/temperature control handling instructions to an agent or destination office on how a shipment should be managed.
- Communicate any temperature results as soon as possible after delivery, checking and noting any deviations.
Work with regulations (ADR/DGR/IATA) as well as local laws and guidelines.
What your background should look like
- Native in Italian and Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Able to follow procedures and instructions.
- Able to work in a team with a flexible approach.
Knowledge in Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Education of graduate or similar.
- Knowledge of the logistics industry would be an advantage.
- Team player - able to work constructively with colleagues inside and outside of the department to ensure the best possible service is provided to the client at all times.
- Self motivated, uses own initiative and remains calm under pressure.
- High attention to detail.
- Able to prioritise workload, which may change throughout the day
The shift requirements for this role will be a rotating shift between the hours of 08:00 and 19:30, Monday to Friday.
