**JOB PURPOSE
- The Customs Regulations Specialist will support the Customs Regulations Department Manager in the management of risks connected with the import/export of Prada Group products, in light of the changing global geopolitical scenario, ensuring continuity of the supply chain of goods from the manufacturer to the end-consumer. - Therefore, special focus shall be placed on compliance profiles, meant as the correct enforcement of customs and tax provisions, both in accordance with internal company procedures and in cooperation with the Public Administration.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out control, supervision and direction of import/export customs operations implemented within the Logistics Division of Prada Spa, focusing in particular on export/import controls on restrictions to the free circulation of goods
- Hold relations with the relevant Authorities (Customs Authorities, Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture, Ministry for Economic Development, etc. )
aimed at sharing projects, obtaining clarifications on the correct interpretation of applicable laws and/or on the use of special arrangements or institutions
- Oversee all matters connected with the determination of the product classification, their origin (preferential and non-preferential) for a correct and prompt management of the relevant profiles and declaration processes
- Prepare BTI (in terms of classifications) and BOI (in terms of origin) in agreement with Industrial Divisions and inputs Customs Decisions on the Electronic Customs System
- Support, if necessary, foreign subsidiaries of the Prada Group in their relations with local Customs Authorities within the scope of possible audit processes or for the development of new projects
- Draft and negotiates Customs Broker Agreements
- Contribute to the drafting of the annual budget with respect to the incidence of customs duties and the cost of specialist consultancies, ensuring monitoring, analysis of differences and proposing possible corrective actions to be implemented
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Very good knowledge of European and Domestic customs duties and of the main telematics tools available to key economic operators (e. g.
Trade Portal; AIDA, etc. )
for interactions with the Revenue Agency and the Chambers of Commerce- Good knowledge of CITES regulations- Proper knowledge of international trade matters, i. e.
incoterms, VAT, US First Sale Rule/Price- Law Degree- Experience of at least 5 years in the customs field within structured companies- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Very good knowledge of the English language- Proactivity, precision and attention to details- Organization and analytical skills, ability to synthesize and to identify the correct work priorities within the scope of the required responsibilities/skills- Teamwork-oriented
