We are looking for a Customs Specialist to join our TMC Transport Management Center located in Dalmine who will coordinate activity to ensure import and export transaction data is sent in a timely manner to supporting parties (Customs Brokers).

The position requires a thorough understanding of international freight and Customs requisites as well as a full awareness of the System's database of the classification of the company's products in accordance with the import and export requirements: HTS, ECCN, license determination and country of origin determination with development and maintenance of Import/Export compliance program, including compliance manual(s) and auditing of processes.

Trade & Transportation Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Provide Import / Export instruction to Brokers, guarantee relevant documentation is properly archived.

- Monitor Extra EU SAP Transaction and ensure 100% Compliance: archive MRN documents into SAP.

- Expedite missing documentation with Brokers.

Monitor Customs portal and ensuring the closure of transaction/getting proof of exit.

- Cooperate with Customs authorities.

- Ensure all records are maintained and archived correctly.

- Provide reporting as required on day to day activities.

- Communicate with export

- and import-related authorities and suppliers, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support and activities.

- Monitor and report on results relating to import/export activities.

**Your background**:

- Good understanding and working knowledge of SAP GTS Customs module.

- Experience in logistics, preferably with a mix of air/sea/truck.

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Powerpoint.

- Fluent English and Italian, both written and spoken.

- Ability to build effective relationships with internal Customers and Forwarders / Brokers and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
