Posizione The Customs Specialist will manage the increasing volume of CITES requests and support the team's expansion following the takeover of more pre-import activities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with international trade regulations related to endangered species.

Verifying the accuracy and completeness of CITES documentation and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Providing expert guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders on CITES requirements.

Staying up-to-date on changes in CITES regulations and implementing necessary updates to internal procedures.

Collaborating closely with government agencies, customs brokers, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth and compliant trade operations.

Managing the increased workload associated with the recent expansion of pre-import activities.

Contributing to the development and improvement of internal processes for CITES compliance.

Maintaining accurate records of all CITES-related transactions.

Providing support to other team members on CITES procedures.

Profilo Fluency in English.

Experience in customs compliance, with a specific focus on CITES regulations.

Knowledge of international trade laws and regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
