Overview**:

**Role purpose**: to support and implement security controls to protect Vodafone customers data, systems, against cyber threats and, where appropriate, provide operational expertise in the use of cyber security tools and processes definition.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Ensure deployment and effectiveness of cyber prevent security controls

- Identify security threats that need to be addressed and define approach to reduce risks

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Proven experience and deep knowledge of Cyber Security main topics and areas

- Thorough understanding of relevant industry security standards and protocols including ISO27001 and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST);

- Extensive knowledge of the ICT technologies and architectures (including cloud);

- Hands-on experience on cyber prevent technologies (e. g.

SIEM, WAF, IPS EDR, DLP)

Excellent communication skills to provide rapid and concise summaries of complex scenarios.

**Must have professional qualifications/experience**:

- Master's Degree in quantitative fields like Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering

- Must have fluency in Italian and English.

- 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role in a telecoms, banking, insurance, digital services sector

- CISSP or SANS certifications will be beneficial
