**The Role

- Within the Cyber Threat Research team, the Security Analyst will:

- Monitor the organization's networks for security breaches and investigate when one occurs

- Use and maintain software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect sensitive information

- Check for vulnerabilities in computer and network systems

- Analyze network traffic for signatures that match known cyber attacks

- Research the latest information technology (IT) security trends

- Prepare reports that document general metrics, attempted attacks, and security breaches

- Develop security standards and best practices for their organization

- Recommend security enhancements to management or senior IT staff

- Help computer users when they need to install or learn about new security products and procedures

**Skills and Experience Required

- Expert in Security Incident Event Management

- Experienced in Endpoint Detection and Response and Extended Detection and Response

- Experienced in security orchestration, automation and response

- Well diverse in correlation analysis and Malware Triage and Incident response concept

- You have coding skills such as Python, C++, or PowerShell

- Expert in Network defense, Intrusion Detection Systems and Intrusion Prevention Systems

- You have one of the Certifications: ECIH, GCIH, ECSA, GCFA, GCFE
