Our client, a leading Italian telecommunications company committed to driving innovation and transforming connectivity experiences for individuals and businesses through cutting-edge technology, is seeking to hire: CyberSecurity Engineer (Milan - Hybrid Working) Company: Telco Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cybersecurity Skills: Network security solutions design and monitoring (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs), server and application hardening, vulnerability management and patching, security log analysis, advanced monitoring tools, security scanning and mitigation planning, Malware Analysis tools (debuggers, disassemblers, system monitors), Penetration Testing, Ethical Hacking, cryptographic techniques, Risk Assessment methodologies, integration of security measures in software development.

Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and monitor network security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs, to ensure secure business communications.

Protect servers, operating systems, and business applications from vulnerabilities by applying hardening techniques and implementing regular patching solutions.

Collect and analyze security logs to detect suspicious activities and prevent attacks using advanced monitoring tools.

Conduct security scans to identify and resolve vulnerabilities in IT systems, apply timely fixes, and develop mitigation plans.

Educate colleagues and collaborators on the importance of cybersecurity, promoting best practices to minimize the risk of cyberattacks.

Work closely with the development team to integrate security measures into corporate applications and software systems.

Communicate with corporate security teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Required Skills Degree in technical/scientific disciplines, preferably with a focus on cybersecurity.

Knowledge of key Risk Assessment techniques.

Understanding of firewall operations.

Familiarity with commonly used Malware Analysis tools, such as debuggers, disassemblers, and system monitors.

Experience with Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking techniques.

Knowledge of encryption methods and cryptographic techniques.
