Terna is seeking candidates for the role of Cyber System Engineer at its Naples office, for the Cyber Security Area.

The successful Cyber System Engineer will be responsible for the following activities: Guaranteeing the management, operation, and ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the central and peripheral IT and OT Security equipment and of the traffic security infrastructure; Supporting the management, operation, and ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the group's remote access systems and safe navigation systems, as well as of cyber security applications (SIEM, IAM, email protection, endpoint protection, etc.

); Supporting the management of the central Cyber Security systems and infrastructure and Security Platforms (servers, storage, backup, virtualisation systems, etc.

); Coordinating and managing the execution of projects in the Cyber sector, respecting Terna's operating procedures and standards; Constantly ensuring that the central and peripheral platforms are kept up to date, and that security patches and improvements to the user experience are carried out; Managing, in collaboration with the other units involved, the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities on Cyber equipment, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the services within their sphere of competence.

Key requirements: At least 5 years of experience in the field of designing, managing and operating IT and OT security infrastructure.

Excellent knowledge of the technologies of the main vendors of firewalling solutions (Fortinet, Checkpoint).

Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems.

Good knowledge of Windows operating systems.

Good knowledge in the field of networking.

Skills in backup/restore procedures and methodologies in the field of enterprise.

Skills in the management of storage infrastructure in the field of enterprise.

Familiarity with the preparation of technical documentation, as well as reports and viewpoint summaries to submit to Management.
