**Job Title**: Consultant, Production Planning & Scheduling

**Location**: Buttrio (UD)

**Business Unit: Danieli Automation

With more than 40 years of experience focused on metals production worldwide, Danieli Automation is Danieli technological partner for production management, process and equipment control, advanced instrumentation, and state-of-the-art electrical solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage business and functional analysis for software solutions supporting the digitalization of a steel plant, with specific focus on production planning and scheduling;

- Map customers' existing planning and scheduling processes, identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into requirements and specifications;

- Support the software development team participating in the implementation of the product features;

- Assist the project delivery team participating in modeling, customization, deployment, and support phases;

- Support sales team in engaging customers, giving product demonstrations and gathering end-user experiences and input;

- Support product management in the definition of the long-term product roadmap.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma of Higher Technical Institute or Degree in Computer Science/Engineering

**Technical Requirements**:

**Required**:

- Familiarity with production planning and scheduling business logic in manufacturing or process industries;

- Experience with Agile project management approach and tools (e. g.

Azure DevOps);

- Familiarity with software engineering theory and practice, UML diagrams, modeling, and design tools.

**Will be considered as a plus**:

- Experience in design and implementation of Advanced Planning & Scheduling solutions for manufacturing or process industries;

- Experience as Production Planner in manufacturing or process industries.
