Data & Ai Sales Specialist
Introduction
Data & AI Sales Specialist is a Brand sales role with focus on Analytics, Data Management and AI Software Products.
He/she will be accountable for achieving his/her sales targets by generating an healthy pipeline of opportunities and progressing them to closure.
**Your Role and Responsibilities
The Solution Representative - Brand Specialist is responsible for developing specific Brand/product specific solutions that address client's business needs (both industry and business) and deliver client value while supporting brand specific business strategies.
As part of a large software sales team, the Data & AI sales specialist will be responsible for championing the sales efforts with clients in the area of Data & AI and its components like: Data Science, Decision Optimization tools, Databases, Data Fabric, Data Warehouse, DataLake.
This Role will Include, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- understand Data & AI trends and topics
- understand the solutions sold and show ability to articulate their value to customers
- achieve quarterly sales targets by working collaboratively with the extended sales team - perform the following sales activities: prospecting, meeting with clients, delivering demonstrations and/or proof of technology, establishing strong relationships with Clients, ultimately progressing opportunities to closure
- utilize with proficiency all IBM sales and reporting tools
- Ensure the highest client satisfaction and 100% deployment rate
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years of selling Data & AI solutions in areas like Analytics & Advance Analytics: Datalake, Data Warehouse, Business Analytics, Planning Budgeting, AI & Datafabric.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales quota.
- Industry knowledge of the Data & AI market
- Good technical understanding of the following enterprise domains: Data Warehousing, Data Governance, Data Science and AI/Machine Learning, Business Intelligence, Conversational AI, Risk and Compliance, budgeting and planning and customer care
- Establish client value propositions that tie key strategic, financial, and operational metrics directly to near and long-term business goals
- Ability to develop client relationships at C-level
- Working experience with business partners, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
Strong interpersonal skills (client-facing/interdepartmental) and clear communication style
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multicultural work environment.
Good level of Spoken and Written English
- Ability to work by objectives and collaboratively in a fast-paced, decentralized environment
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Working experience on IBM Analytic tools and Solutions.
- Working experience on main Open Source DB solutions
- Expertise in selling SaaS
