AWS is growing rapidly in the Aragon region, and we are looking for Installation Technicians to join our expanding Data Center Operations team as part of our Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP). This is an entry-level position and a unique opportunity to work in some of the most innovative and fast-paced data centers in the world. This role is based onsite in a Zaragoza Data Center. B2 English level is required. The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for the scaling and physical deployment of new data center infrastructure. As part of that team, the Installation Technician will be tasked with installing cabling and new racks within the data centers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated individual with a willingness to learn and up-skill. Candidates will be working in a team environment and must be able to communicate and promote cross-team functionality. This position has a physical component and may require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations. All interested candidates must be willing to work rotating shifts (day/night) including weekends. Key job responsibilities: Installing new hardware in the data center Basic Networking removal/installation and clearing of configurations Work with networking hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers, and server hardware and associated troubleshooting. Management of inventory of related materials. Ability to travel within geographical work area is required. Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center. Regularly lift 35lbs or move heavy objects into position. Regularly work at heights and from ladders. Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - High school or equivalent diploma - Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
