The Avanade Manufacturing Innovation Hub (Manufacturing Center of Excellence) is open to top talent from around the world to a place where everyone can learn from each other and grow skills while collaborating on the best ideas for manufacturing clients. As a Technical Analyst, you will use your knowledge of data engineering and data science to support client deliveries and develop assets for Avanade's Azure practice, including projects focusing on streamlining and automating machine learning activities. You will support the team by contributing to Data & AI solutions using Microsoft Azure PaaS services while leveraging best practices and proven patterns to deliver advanced analytics capabilities. Skills and Experiences • 2 years of experience using some of the following tools: Power BI, R, Hive, Pig, Python, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Mongo, Cassandra, CosmosDB • 2 years of experience working with cloud services, preferably Azure Cloud. About You • 2 years of proven leadership experience in an academic, extra-curricular, or professional setting. • Your education is likely to include an MS/Ph. D. in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, or an equivalent Bachelor's degree with around 1 - 3 years of relevant professional experience. What You Will Do • Apply technical knowledge to design solutions that meet business and IT needs, build analytics solutions, and ensure long-term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key analytics and AI technologies where appropriate (e. g. , Azure ML, ML Server, BOT framework, Cognitive Services, Big Data, Data Lake, Azure Databricks, etc. ). • Experience in any other cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IBM Netezza, or Oracle is a merit. • Strong understanding of the value propositions associated with AI, Data, PaaS (ideally Azure PaaS), and DevOps. • Experience with external client-facing and project-based consulting. • Ensure that solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
