Data Engineer - Fincantieri NexTech Location: Italy - Genova - Roma - Trieste

JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our international team and play a key role in building and maintaining our data platform.

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines, as well as working with data scientists and analysts to ensure that they have the data they need to do their jobs.

ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. Work with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs. Maintain and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance and availability. Work with other engineers to develop and implement data-driven solutions. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in data engineering and big data technologies. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Kafka. Experience with data pipeline development and orchestration tools. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Good programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and presentation skills. Professional English.
