**The opportunity
Trust is central to EY's data strategy, enabling EY to become a data driven organization.
As the Data Policies Enforcement Operational Lead, you will become a key member of EY's Trust Services team within the Data Office (DO).
**Your key responsibilities
As the Data Policies Enforcement Operational Lead you will be a senior member of the Trust Services team with the primary responsibility of codifying and implementing data access policies, based on specific access patterns, which may change and/or increase over time.
The role will also require operational oversight of additional trust controls.
You will be responsible for working closely across the entire Trust Services team and the wider Data Office, together with the EY Client Technology to ensure that data access policies are fit for purpose and implement the underlying rules and controls as provided by policy groups (General Counsel's Office, Data Protection, Independence, Risk Management and Service Line Quality etc) at a global, area and regional level.
This will also require leading and growing out a team, which you will have day-to-day responsibility for creating and maintaining data access policies based on a defined operate model.
**Skills and attributes for success
- Strong stakeholder management will be required to manage policy groups at the global, area and local level, together with local business sponsors to capture requirements, document processes and mitigate issues as they arise.
You will require a solution focused approach and an ability to develop new methodology and frameworks to address the challenges of a global organization operating in over 150 countries.
- Act as a business consultant to identify the core requirements of the policy groups and act as a trusted advisor to a variety of internal stakeholders, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
- Work with DO leadership in explaining the overall vision of EY's Data Strategy and effectively and consistently communicate this to key stakeholders.
- Pursue and build relationships across the business globally and gather intelligence and bring insight about the wider data policy landscape.
- Gathers feedback from solution teams and service lines to inform the execution of the various services of the Data Policies and Trust capability
- Support the implementation of an ongoing communication plan to educate key stakeholders on data governance
- Support the design and ongoing iteration of procedural documentation
- Additional Technical Skills
- Expert full lifecycle knowledge of access controls; including Role Based Access Controls (RBAC), Attribute Based Access Controls (ABAC) and Policy based provisioning
- Deep understanding of key Identity Access Management (IAM) concepts (i. e.
Least Privileged, etc.
)
- Ability to define, build, and manage automated subscription polices
- Ability to define, build, and manage global/local data policies
- Ability to define, build, and manage global/local data access controls
- Change management and business as usual (BAU) operational process oversight
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Shell
- Working knowledge of web services and API connectors
**To qualify for the role, you must have
- A degree Computer Science, a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Advanced degree preferred, but not required.
- Any Data Governance, Data Protection or Industry certification is preferred
- 10+ years of total work experience consisting of:
- Minimum 7+ years of hand
