Data Science - Hr Internship
Job Description Summary**: At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we've been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years.
We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
As an HR data science intern, you will familiarize with data analysis and predictability related to Human Resources, studying processes, tools and opportunities for improvement (e. g.
: attrition, vacations, inclusion & diversity, headcount, etc.
), as well as Learning KPIs development and monitoring.
You will have the opportunity to acquire a vision of HR activities from a Lean perspective and with reference to the impacts on the organization and the economics.
In such context, you will work on projects with moderate complexity in team with professional figures diversified by activities and experience, experimenting with methodologies of analysis and problem solving and touching human and financial aspects.
**Essential responsibilities
- Actively participating in the creation, implementation and analysis of the key metrics and preparation of leadership reviews also by enhancing and improving the use of the existing tools
- Proactively participating to working groups and projects aimed at analyzing and improving HR processes and practices, using the Lean approach
- Supporting the HR team in the operational management of the budget process to ensure the correctness and timeliness of inputs and other activities impacting on data accuracy
**Qualification/Requirements
- Master's degree in one of the following disciplines: Economics, Management Engineering, Digital / Computer Science or Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Philosophy of Computer Science
- Fluent English and Italian

- Logic / rational mindset, interest in sociology, sociological research, motivation to human sciences, constructive critical spirit

- MS Office (Excel, Access, Power Point), Minitab or similar
