We're looking for a Data Scientist to join our Team in Milan.

Main tasks and duties:Responsibilities: Analyze large datasets from energy production, prices, and consumption to uncover insights and trends. Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to optimize energy usage and forecasting (e. g. , renewable energy production, demand forecasting). Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate key findings to top management. Assist in building and refining energy price models, optimization strategies, and risk assessment tools. Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering to prepare data for analysis. Work closely with the market intelligence team to provide actionable insights. Stay current with trends and innovations in data science and energy markets. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data modeling techniques. Proficiency in Python. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. Familiarity with SQL for data querying and database management. Knowledge of energy markets, renewable energy, or sustainability is a plus (but not required). Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
