Innovation & Transformation structure is in charge of developing projects to ensure the transformation and innovation of the technical and operational activities and to make the most out of new business and technological opportunities for Asset and Wealth Management (A&WM) Business Unit.

The function is organized as follows:

- The Innovation structure is in charge of defining and coordinating the implementation of the innovation and digital strategy of Generali Investments and of ensuring the innovation of the technical and operational activities;

- The Transformation structure is in charge of coordinating the business transformation projects of the IT & Operations, the contribution of the IT & Operations to the Asset Management Business Unit projects, and the activities related to the definition of the Internal Regulations of Generali Investments Holding and the other entities covered by outsourcing contracts

The Analytics Translator liaises with the business owner to identify beneficial analytics use cases.

He/she leads the project from translating business needs in an analytical problem statement to embedding the solution in the relevant workflows.

In addition, the Analytics Translators strives for a higher data literacy in the organization to boost the value of Analytics & AI.

- Identify analytics use cases in collaboration with the business owner that create tangible value in day-to-day and prioritize analytics-based solutions together with the business

- Raising data literacy through best practice sharing and presentation of show cases to develop more "data-savvy" employees and foster data-centric business thinking

- Determine requirements that will be used to train and evolve deep learning models and algorithms

- Articulate a vision and roadmap for the exploitation of data as a valued corporate asset

- Visualize information and develop reports on results of data analysis

- Influence product teams through presentation of data-based recommendations

**Requirements**:

Must have:

- Master's or PhD in a highly quantitative field such as Statistics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Economics or a related quantitative field

- + 5 years of working experience in a similar role in the Finance sector with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and solving complex problems

- Italian and fluent English as minimum requirements

- Strong knowledge of Python and its main data processing and modeling libraries (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost).

- Good knowledge of Deep Learning models and frameworks (Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, ).

Soft skills:

- Self-starter with ability to work with mínimal supervision and with ownership and accountability for project deliverables

- Ability to understand business problems and distill informal requirements into analytics problems

- Ability to interact, communicate and present complex results to technical and non-technical audiences within multiple levels of the organization

- Ability to self-motivate, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a complex environment with ambiguity and mínimal supervision

- Willingness to learn new technological, complex topics and to continuously challenge her/himself

- Strong communication & project management skills
