Job Description We are looking for a Data Scientist that will help us in delivering digital data products.

Your primary focus will be in applying data mining, machine learning techniques, time series analysis techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems to be integrated into our products.

Responsibilities Feature selection, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniquesData mining using state-of-the-art methodsSignal processing for IoT dataEnriching company's data with third party sources of information when neededProcessing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysisDoing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear mannerOwn the algorithm and model development and validation process till it enters productionSkills and Qualifications Master in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalentPreferred: PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning or equivalentProfessional experience in applying machine learning and data mining techniques to real problems with copious amounts of dataExperience with signal processing, in particular FFT analysesExcellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Anomaly detection, Bayesian techniques, SVM, Decision Forests, Deep Learning, Regression etc. Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etcExperience with common data science tools and libraries, such as Python, PyCharm, R, RStudio, NumPy, SciKit Learn, TensorFlow, MLib, Jupyter, Azure Machine Learning Studio etc. Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3. js, Matplotlib, GGplot, etc. Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, PigGood knowledge of version-control system such as GitExperience with Databricks and Spark for data analysisKnowledge of big data technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Hadoop and computing engines is a big plusProficiency with latex is a big plusGood scripting and programming skillsData-oriented personalityAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAbility to independently own and drive model development, balancing demands and deadlinesGreat communication skills, Fluency in English is a must.
