You will have the chance to give your contribution, being involved from Day 1 in exciting projects aimed at continuously enhancing Luxottica's presence in the word.

Here some of the responsibilities you will have:

- Assist in the analytical efforts of Data Science team in supporting Retail Merchandising team for the Global Assortment & Planning activities.

- Help in identifying key business drivers to be used in Data Science projects and assessing outcomes from previous implementations.

- Develop of end-to-end Data Science, automation, and optimization projects to improve the business teams' decision-making and operativity.

- Follow the CRISP-DM process and Agile methodologies to cooperate effectively with other Data Scientists and Data Analysts.

- Act as a thought -provoker and create a culture to resolve business needs utilizing a fact-based approach.

- Strong Analytical and statistical capabilities: Able to deal with Big-Data using Data Mining, Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, Time Series Forecasting and Data Visualization methodologies.

- Able to interpret findings into relevant, actionable, and understandable business insights

- Proficient in Python.

- Able to use (and learn) modern Agile and software development / deployment tools using Git

- Experience with Data Visualization & Business Intelligence tools: Microsoft PowerBI (preferred) or similar (Qlik, Tableau)
