Data Scientist Specialist
The Data Scientist is responsible to support the company decision making leveraging on internal sources of information.
She-/he is in charge to lead statistical analysis, propose predictive models and segmentation approaches, design scores and KPIs, datamine the Consumer Intelligence System (mainly CRM and Voice of the Customer).
The Data Scientist must have the ability to come up with solutions to loosely defined business problems and put structure.
It is key an effective communication of important information and insights to the main stakeholders and make recommendations.
- Master's degree in mathematics, statistics or engineering
- English: advanced oral and writing
- Mandatory: 5 or more years of relevant analytics experience
- Mandatory: experience in managing large datasets
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting-/predictive analytics, multivariate testing, and optimization algorithms
- Experience using machine learning algorithms
- High proficiency in the use of statistical packages (e. g.
SAS, SPSS, KNIME, DATAIKU, )
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to tell data based stories
- Proven track record of achieving ambitious goals (personal, professional or educational)
- Ability to produce on-time quality deliverables in a deadline driven environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Demonstrates scientist qualities: clarity, accuracy, precision, relevance, depth, breadth, logic, significance, and fairness
- Proactive, enthusiastic, energetic, passionate personality
- Conducts advanced data analysis and highly complex designs algorithm
- Applies advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques
- Designs experiments, test hypotheses, and build models
- Identify new opportunities to leverage data science
- Partner with other teams such as IT, Marketing; collaborate on projects across the company
