Dealer Compliance Specialist Southern Europe
JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description SummaryThe Dealer Compliance Specialist assists in the management and maintenance the zones Independent Third-Party (ITP) compliance program under the responsibility of the Senior Dealer Compliance Specialist and/or the Senior Compliance leader.
The Dealer Compliance Specialist is responsible for both advising and enforcing GEHC's policies and procedures covering the regulation of Independent Third Parties within the zone.
They work with various functional teams, as well as legal counsel, to identify, assess, and develop action plans with respect to Independent Third-Party (ITP) risk. Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:
Assist the Zone Compliance Leader and/or Senior Dealer Compliance Specialist in third party and other business compliance risk managementProvide Independent Third-Party (ITP) regulatory and compliance advice, including advising the businesses/operational teams within the region.
Assist the establishment of Independent Third-Party compliance priorities and the action plans to address any compliance gaps.
Responsible for the execution of action plansProvide support to and execute projects that ensure operations are complying with applicable regulations and GE policies governing ITPs and Improper Payment Prevention.
Responsible for supporting rigorous ITP processes in GEHC businesses for the zone:
provide SFDC usage guidance to commercial teams, use the Risk Level Determination (RLD) to assess risk andmake decisions on the ITP approval process, analyze due diligence reports, identify, and resolve red flags, trigger escalations when needed, and ensure that all requirements are met under the ITP Policy and SOPSupport zone Internal Review Board (IRB) meetings by providing red flag details and ITP informationSupport the review and approval process for ITP on-boarding, renewal, and off-boarding. Deliver targeted training to business leaders, operational teams, and Independent Third PartiesPrepare zone metrics on ITP due diligence, training, and contracting compliance.
Report such metrics to Compliance and business leadership team through Compliance Review BoardReview and approve high risk transactions such as ITP Purchase OrdersAssisting in other core compliance responsibilities such as Compliance Review Boards, Performances Review Boards, investigations, and employee training. Qualifications/Requirements3+ years of relevant experience; preference in Compliance and/or internal auditStrong project management and prioritization skills, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work in complex environments with multiple clients and short timelines. Strong ethics and problem-solving attitude. Ability to maintain confidentiality, excellent interpersonal skills and personal accountability. Ability to work well independently and in a team settingIn-depth understanding of key business drivers and concerns.
