The **Technical Trainer**, under the guidance of the DND Training Manager, is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, delivering and administering any technical training program provided to the dealership (Service and workshops), covering both electrical and mechanical systems.
Duties include liaising with the local Departments as well as with the European Headquarter, to develop at local level technical training programs for the dealership network (including online, virtual, face-to-face, and hands-on training).
The main goal of the Technical Trainer is to provide our Dealership with tools, processes and procedures in line with the highest standards of KIA.
**Your Mission**:
- Oversee the development, construction and maintenance of the technical training programs and course contents, in accordance with the local needs and with Kia Headquarters guidelines.
- Research and extract latest vehicle technologies to support the training and development of the delegates, differentiating between essential and supplementary knowledge.
- Participate to the Training Needs Analysis, to guarantee the full alignment of the Training plan with the needs of the Dealership and the priorities of the Company.
- Develop at local level training brochures, following pre-determined layouts and standards.
- Prepare course material to the highest standard.
- Deliver technical training on workshop automotive diagnostic repair procedures, both electrical and mechanical, to a wide range of service technician and technical delegates, at our Training Center, or offsite, as required.
- Foster a supportive learning environment, encouraging questions, experience sharing and utilizing a variety of hands on, and instructor-based training methods.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with the delegates and dealer network, ensuring a consistent and professional approach to all training activities to the Dealership.
- Coordinate and check the organization and suitability of the training and workshop environment including vehicles and training aids.
- Attend Kia Headquarters courses as appropriate to ensure knowledge is up to date.
- Prioritize and manage the activities to meet all schedules and target deadlines.
- Contribute to the internal quality assurance of the technical training Programs.
- Support the training and auditing of the Delegates and the Dealer Network.
- Monitor progresses and develop Training reports for local and European Management.
- Monitor the result of the Training Plan through evaluation and analysis that allow Kia to understand and quantify it.
- Participate to trainings aimed to obtain safety and/or technical certifications (First Aid, Fireproof training, 50110 CEI 11-21, PES/PAV Law).
**Your Talents**:
- Bachelor's or master's degree Engineer or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Technical Trainer in the automotive industry with a focus on the electronic applied to the Automotive sector.
- Previous Background within a Service Technician environment and detailed knowledge of vehicle systems (4-5 years of experience, out of which minimum 3 years in Training)
- Able to learn new vehicles technologies and sub systems, including diagnostics and EV vehicles technologies
- English: fluent, spoken and written.
- MS-office proficient.
- IT literate, with specific experience with automotive diagnostic systems
- Willing to work in a very dynamic and challenging environment.
S/he shows a desire to improve the status quo with a positive "can do" attitude and enthusiasm for the automotive market.
Strongly goal-oriented, s/he has team working, communication, public speaking, reliability and organizational skills with good negotiation ability.
**Contractual grade**: First Level CCNL or above.
