The Human Technopole Foundation (HT) is a new interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health and aging through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational and structural biology and neuroscience, as well as data and decisions sciences.

The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for a **Demand Manager**.

The Human Technopole Foundation (HT) is growing fast and so the need to provide excellent general administrative and operational services to its Research Centers and Core Facilities.

As Demand Manager working across all Areas, you will play a key role in supporting and streamlining the efficiency and quality of internal services to support Research Centers and Core Facilities, with regard to IT infrastructures, data governance, labs supplies and operational guidelines by advising on the most appropriate national public procurement strategies and improving demand/supply processes.

This position is placed within the HT Administration Core Team and reports to the Director of Administration.

**(S)He will have the following main responsibilities**:

- Understand and ideally predict internal users' needs liaising with all HT Research Centers and Facilities;

- Monitor incoming projects derived from the needs of the foundation's IT user community and plan for their delivery in support of all Administration Areas;

- Identify strategies for procuring a wide variety of IT software and hardware, operational and support services, by taking into account the appropriate legislation for Public Administration procurement in Italy, including AgID guidelines and CONSIP prescriptions when applicable;

- Collaborate very closely with the HT Procurement Area to support procurement processes, assisting in the production of any required technical documentation and in the coordination with large national aggregators;

- Keep a comprehensive overview of current active contracts, their terms and expiry/renewal conditions and coordinating suppliers and overview project management in close collaboration with the PMO.

- University degree in Management, related fields or equivalent experience;

- 5 years of experience in a similar role;

- Previous experience in demand managing roles in a Public Administration or a government owned company in Italy;

- Knowledge of SAP and standard purchasing procedures;

- Project management skills (ideally ITIL)

- Excellent communication skills in English and Italian;

- Previous work experience in publicly funded or private research or academic institutes will be considered a plus;
