Demand Planner
Job Description Are you ready to drive success within a dynamic LEGO Business Unit (BU)?
We're looking for a dedicated Demand Planner to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering precise short-term demand plans for our franchise portfolio.
Your expertise will be essential in supporting our Business Unit S&OP process and achieving our commercial goals!
Core Responsibilities Leverage statistical forecasts to develop a weekly demand plan for a major portion of the BU's revenue, covering a rolling 9-month horizon.
Manage forecasts for Sell In at SKU level and Consumer Sales at franchise/brand level, ensuring alignment with marketing, product launches, and promotions.
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to assess the impact of commercial investments and support Brand Managers in aligning franchise/brand plans with BU objectives.
Set and manage forecast exception parameters, addressing discrepancies promptly as part of your daily routine.
Oversee the monthly upload of data into planning systems and ensure key data feeds are current and accurate.
Ensure effective management of product life cycles by accurately reflecting launch plans and stock levels in demand planning tools.
Actively contribute to the BU S&OP processes, including gap analysis and business case preparation.
Serve as the main liaison for the BU in communicating with the Market Group demand planning team and managing tool backlog requests.
Play your part in our team succeeding Your forecasting accuracy will be crucial in evaluating volume and value (revenue and profit), enabling senior management to identify and address gaps, and improving In Stock Availability while minimizing waste.
Use your role to inform both supply chain (volume) and commercial planning processes (value), ensuring seamless coordination across the BU.
Do you have what it takes?
Proven experience in a consumer goods environment and demand planning.
Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI, SAP knowledge preferred.
Ability to simplify complex information and resolve data inputs to determine likely outcomes.
Strong influencing skills with senior colleagues and a solid grasp of statistics.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
Continuous improvement mentality.
