Demand PlannerHuntsman has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner to join the regional demand team within our Textile Effects division in Ternate, Italy.

Working with Global Demand, Forecast Specialists, and the Commercial team, you will be responsible for all forecast activities associated with customers and products to improve forecast accuracy and ensure a proper product mix and maximize customer satisfaction. Reporting directly into the Regional Demand Planner (EMEA, you will build relationships and work close with Global Demand Teams, Forecast Specialists and Commercial Teams to deliver results and ensure overall demand planning improvements. As the Demand Planner, you will:

Working closely with Forecast specialists to manage the Statistical Base for all the items that belong to the Sales Organizations, ensuring the forecast contains all relevant informationCo-maintain the planning data in APO with Forecast Specialists and assist in the most appropriate statistics algorithm selectionAnalyze local customers' demand, order patterns, and forecast bias to improve forecast accuracyManage the demand planning of Phase-in and Phase-out of new or obsolete products respectivelyCommunicate the availability report to Commercial teams on a weekly basisManage orlead projects for overall demand planning improvementsSkills & Experience Required:

Degree qualified in Material Management/Supply Chain Management or similarPrevious experience in a Planning role, ideally Demand PlanningAnalytical & Process orientated with Strong time management skillsExperience with modelling, forecasting, analysis, and simulation toolsMust be proficient with IT Software (SAP & Microsoft office)Written and Verbal fluency in EnglishThis opening will be an initial 6 month contract and is an exciting opportunity to join the regional demand team within a fast paced, forward thinking international business providing plenty of career and progression opportunities.
