**Job Description**:

We're looking for a new Demand Planning Specialist for our Demand&Supply team in our Italian HQ in Origgio: in this role you will report to the Demand Leader for Italy and Hungary, and you will work with her team on the demand management operations: your work will improve our reactions to sales changes, will optimize supply allocation reducing operating costs and stock and will support the delivery of the financial targets for the Italy-Hungary division of O-I Glass

In this role, specifically, you will:

- ensure that improved day to day operational demand management activities are executed on time, on quality, on the scope

- provide active support to the Demand Leader on continuous process improvement and IBP process implementation

- deliver Demand analysis using standard reporting tools (i. e.

BW, Power BI, SAP APO, Excel)

- manage Statistical forecast and Demand proposal forecast

- collaborate in internal project(s) on Forecast to further improve our predictive accuracy

- support the development of Demand process and stats forecast in Hungary

**Qualifications**:

In order to be successful in this role you need:

- a Business or Economics degree

- have 1 or 2 years of experience in the Demand Planning area

- professional working proficiency in Italian and English (both written and spoken)

- a solid knowledge of MS Office suite (especially Excel)

- to be able to build relationships based on trust and confidence

- a proactive, can-do mindset

Any experience in multinational environments will be considered a plus, as any knowledge and/or experience with SAP, Power BI or BW

Additional Information

This role will be based in our Italian HQ in Origgio, a few km north of Milan and east of Varese; there's the possibility to work up to 12 days per month remotely.

During the initial onboarding and training activities, however, we expect that you will be able to work from Monday to Friday in the office if needed.
