Responsabilities

Develop demand forecasts and operational forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.

Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

Interact with sales, marketing, and commercial controller to understand demand forecast drivers.

Provide input to the Production Planning function in developing inventory strategies

Provide input to volume planning (Last Best Estimation / Budget process)

Facilitate and manage demand planning/consensus meetings

Achieve consensus with the business side and the demand chain

Maintain demand planning system and software

Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of product hierarchy

Monitor trends in forecast error

Identify relevant market-related data and competitive intelligence

Prepare and maintain relevant reports concerning demand planning process

Improved relationships among planners, sales, marketing and finance, which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and optimal consensus forecast to guide the company

Maintain reports and presentations regarding Supply Chain KPIs

**Requirements**:

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Informatic or Economics, with specialization in Business Management

2-3 year experience in similar role with exposure to a multinational environment, within the life science or similar sectors.

Proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English is fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP is highly appreciated.

Motivation, curiosity, capacity to interact with several departments and to manage analysis of high quantity of data.
