**THE POSITION**:
In this role you will join the Demand & Distribution Team of one of the world's leading family-owned pharmaceutical companies, developing medicines to address unmet needs in human and animal health.
In this position you will report to the Demand & Distribution Manager and you will act as the local Life Cycle Manager, customs clearance expert and key contact person for Business department in logistics activities related to Demand management, working closely with Global and Local Supply Chain Management, Quality, Marketing, Finance, Local Regulatory Affairs.
**For this position we offer a 12 months fixed term contract.
**Tasks & responsibilities**:
- Planning of finished products orders based on sales forecasts consensus process to satisfy local demand for Boehringer Ingelheim;
- Monitor good receipts at local warehouse and manage logistics complaints for the inbound process;
- Sales & Operation process Governance;
- Support to achieve forecast accuracy targets set by Global Department;
- Act as Business Partner for other business functions in Demand management (i. e.
Supply Chain, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs );
- Identify and communicate inventory risks and opportunities;
- Provide with weekly and monthly reports (ex.
stock coverage, out of stock tracking, Forecast Accuracy, etc)
- Coordinate local transportation of goods from/to Third Parties, providing needed documentation (ex.
Transport order);
- Coordinate and support customs clearance process management for BI products;
- Accountability for Material Master Data Management for finished products;
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Launch, change and phase-out of finished products within the role of Local Life cycle manager;
- Develop relationships with key departments (Mkt & Sales / Finance & Controlling / Global Supply Chain Department);
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 year of experience in planning and forecasting
- Have a clear understanding of basic financial and inventory measures (ex.
sales, volumes, weeks of supply, etc)
- Good analytical skills (ability to work with large data sets)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Team working skills
- Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
- Self-motivated
- Results driven
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts, including GMP&GDP
- Technical expertise: SAP ERP, MS Office
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
