About the DepartmentThe Marketing Department at BYD Italy is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that are tailored to the Italian market. Our goal is to enhance brand visibility, increase market share, and drive business growth in Italy. Our team collaborates closely with the European Marketing team, the Italian dealer network, and BYD regional teams to build and execute quarterly marketing plans that support local market brand-building and sales objectives.
Position: Deputy Marketing ManagerThe Deputy Marketing Manager reports directly to the Marketing Director of Italy and is primarily responsible for driving brand awareness and supporting sales within the Italian market. This role requires close collaboration with the European Marketing team, the Italian dealer network, and BYD regional teams to develop and execute strong quarterly marketing plans.
The Deputy Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that dealer websites, signage, and all marketing materials are up-to-date and aligned with BYD's CI policy. Additionally, this role oversees the marketing budget, including fund allocation to retailers for marketing initiatives. The Deputy Marketing Manager will also work with the European PR and Events team to plan and execute activities within the Italian market.
Key Objectives and ResponsibilitiesDefine the Country Marketing Plan in line with business objectives and global strategic guidelines. Plan and lead the execution of national events, conducting post-event analyses to assess effectiveness and provide insights internally. Develop and manage regional advertising/digital campaigns in the Italian market, in collaboration with the appointed agency. Provide digital assets for local use, ensuring support during national campaigns. Supervise dealer marketing plans and monitor execution by dealer partners. Contribute insights for the European Marketing Plan and monitor competitor activities (product and financial benchmarks, monthly installments, new campaigns, etc. ). Develop and manage local advertising and PR campaigns with the support of the PR Manager and the appointed agency. Oversee the marketing budget. Manage relationships with press, media, agencies, and digital influencers in coordination with the PR Manager to ensure brand and product visibility. Conduct post-event analysis to assess action effectiveness, integrating insights into the marketing planning process. Collaborate with and support the European PR and Events team for activities within the Italian market. Foster and maintain relationships with digital media and social influencers. Act as a brand ambassador, always prioritizing the customer experience. Actively engage and support European events and initiatives as needed. Your ProfileSolid experience in the automotive industry or branded retail products. 5+ years of experience in marketing management roles within the automotive sector. Strong digital skills. Customer-focused mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and proactively manage tasks with effective time management skills. Resilient and open-minded. Results-oriented, with the ability to work to deadlines, hands-on approach, and motivated to achieve results. Proficiency in English and Italian is mandatory (knowledge of other European languages and/or Mandarin Chinese is a plus). Connected with our mission toward a more sustainable future.
