Role Overview We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Deputy Store Director - Back of House to join our boutique located in the heart of Milan's Montenapoleone district.

Reporting directly to the Store Director, this key role focuses on managing all back-of-house operations, ensuring seamless stock management, cash handling, and tailor shop activities to support the boutique's exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Your Contribution to the Role Lead, motivate, and develop the back-of-house team to achieve operational excellence. Provide training and support to ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and standards. Work closely with the Store Director and other department heads to align back-of-house operations with overall boutique objectives Oversee inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and organizing stock efficiently. Ensure accurate stock control through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory audits. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely replenishment of the sales floor and alignment with seasonal needs. Supervise and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, including reconciliation and reporting. Monitor point-of-sale systems and support staff with any technical or transactional issues. Coordinate with in-house tailors to manage alteration requests, ensuring timely and high-quality service for clients. What You Bring to the Team Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within luxury retail, with a strong focus on back-of-house operations. Deep understanding of stock and inventory management systems and cash handling proceduresExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Fluency in Italian and English is required; additional languages are a plus. Familiarity with luxury fashion industry standards and customer expectations.
