Job Description:Your new Company Our Client is one of the most important institutions responsible for the organisation and functioning of the financial markets.

Your new Role We are looking for a Trading Surveillance Analyst on Derivatives Market that will join the Market Supervision team.

The Market Supervision team carries out a series of market operational tasks such as assistance to members on compliance-related matters, order handling, error trade management, price adjustments of equity cash and derivatives instruments and indices subsequent to corporate actions (i. e.

adjustment coefficients calculation, evaluation of ex-rights, warrants and convertible bonds issues, support to issuers and other BIt teams), fair price valuation for newly listed securities, calculation of settlement prices of derivatives contracts, second-level control of primary index, and co-operation with and assistance to other business units for product development.

The candidate will assist in real-time market surveillance activities, with particular reference to cash and bond markets and ETFs, starting market activities and after-hours.

Activities include market interventions on the trading system, member firms and instrument trading suspensions and resumptions, trading parameters and price management, handling of input errors, and orders and trades cancellations.

Moreover, the candidate will assist member firms with requests (e. g.

order deletion, error trades handling, basic regulatory queries) and will perform real-time and ex-post monitoring of liquidity provision obligations and other surveillance reports.

He/she will perform functional testing activities related to the trading platform and the surveillance system and will assist in the maintenance of internal policies and procedures related to market supervision activities and in the preparation of regulatory reports, including appropriate regulatory analysis.

What You'll Need To Succeed The ideal candidate is a graduate in Finance with 1-2 years of professional experience in the finance industry.

Experience in a regulatory, compliance, or surveillance role is a plus.

Knowledge of the general securities industry, rules and regulations, and the markets is a plus.

The ideal candidate is fluent in both written and spoken English and has a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
