Offer DescriptionThe SMARTSCHOLARS 2. 0 project aims to develop a platform to facilitate access to tutoring in first- and second-grade high schools, improving the skills of students.

The platform will provide a virtual environment to:

Facilitate peer-to-peer meetings between students for knowledge exchange, using Artificial Intelligence algorithms to suggest possible matches;Facilitate meetings with teachers for thematic lessons and individual ones. The objectives of the research grant are to:

Develop the algorithm for suggesting and matching peer-to-peer tutors and teachers to customize the solution based on the user model (type of school, school level, ratings of their performance within the platform);Validate the suggestion model with real users to verify the performance in terms of accuracy and satisfaction of suggested matches.
