Offer DescriptionThe research focuses on how the learning of STEM subjects, particularly mathematics, can be enhanced by involving learners in computational thinking activities and how digital technologies, including the use of generative artificial intelligence, can influence this process.

Teaching practices will be developed based on the synergies identified between computational thinking and the learning of mathematics.

Case studies will be analyzed, and based on a literature review, activities will be designed to promote computational thinking, including through collaborative learning methodologies and in international contexts.

The activities will be tested in various settings, and the data obtained will be analyzed using modern machine learning methods.

The materials, models, and tools developed will aim to foster the development of problem-solving skills and improve sensemaking.
